Ronwe Primary School
KLEIN DRAKENSTEIN
A vegetable garden has been planted which will supplement the existing feeding scheme. We are hoping it will grow big enough to enable the school to not have to purchase vegetables for the learners’ lunch.
We have secured a sponsor for the first team rugby jerseys in 2018. It will be an ongoing project supplying the netball and rugby teams with proper kit as well as fixing and maintaining the sport facilities.
We are in the process of clearing the school grounds of rubble and renovating the school building.

Wash Basin for Grade R Learners
The Grade R learners have had to make use of the communal tap in the garden to wash their hands during class time, resulting in children getting sick during the winter months as well as spoiling their clothes.
We now have 20 very happy Grade R’s after an aluminium sink was installed.
Potjiekos Competition
The workers, parents of the children and families of the neighbouring farms, Rennie Farms, Lebanon, Loewenstein, Twee Spruit, De Vlei and Solomons Vlei all got together at Ronwe Primary School to battle it out for the best potjie. Most of these teams had their ingredients donated by the various farms they work for, and after 3 hours of bubbling and merriment 6 potjies were judged with the curry potjie coming out tops.
